"As a student-athlete here at Oregon, multiple opportunities are available off the court to prepare me for success in my career and life after college. Women in flight creates role models for us as we hopefully grow into role models for younger female athletes. While attending Oregon, this scholarship encourages excellence not only on the court, but also utilize the power of sport in organizations around campus."

enhanced resources

Enhancement of the resources Women In Flight provides to female student-athletes is a top priority for the Oregon Athletic Department. Developments in technology have substantially advanced athletic training and safety. With new ways to track performance, perfect movement, improve communication, and prevent injury, providing technological enhancements to our women’s athletic programs is essential to help female student-athletes achieve their full potential in competition, health, and wellness.

TRACKING & ANALYTICS
Analytical systems that track and analyze movement enhance athletic potential.
VIDEO RECORDING & EXCHANGE

WIDESPREAD INFLUENCE

INSPIRE OTHER INSTITUTIONS

Since the launch of Women In Flight in 2014, our program and the University of Oregon have been pioneers in advancing the support of women’s athletic programs. As other collegiate institutions look to us for inspiration and example, we share best practices and provide guidance to help support female student-athletes across the country.

LEAD THE PACK

There’s power in numbers. Through our “Go Do Anything” message, Women In Flight aims to bring together educational institutions, athletic departments, businesses, and organizations across the nation to collectively celebrate, support, and accelerate women’s athletics.

IMPROVED FACILITIES

Part of enabling our female student-athletes to “Go Do Anything” is creating a home environment. Funds raised through this campaign help provide enhancements for a variety of women’s sports facilities at the University of Oregon. Our biggest projects include the turf at PapĂ© Field, where over 50 student-athletes on the soccer and lacrosse teams compete daily, a home court for the beach volleyball team, and more.

BUILD COMMUNITY

PROVIDE SUSTAINABLE FUNDING

Women In Flight is dedicated to providing sustainable support for the University of Oregon women’s athletic programs. Continued support allows us to sustainably fund all programmatic costs that directly impact our female student-athletes. Your gift helps shape the Women In Flight community for years to come.

DEVELOP COACHES & SUPPORT STAFF

Leadership and mentorship are important aspects of student-athlete development. Your gift helps support our women’s athletics coaches and surrounding staff, enabling them to continue inspiring, guiding, and leading our female-student athletes to success inside and outside their sport.
